Who we are
ECOMUD group s.r.o. is the Slovak arm of an international group — Iszapfaló Kft. in Hungary and EFS Bioremedia DOO in Serbia. The community’s purpose is straightforward: to apply proven and modern technologies properly, to act as a useful partner for surface-water operators adapting to a changing climate, and to share our international experience quickly and openly with everyone who gets in touch.

Where conditions allow, we use biological methods. We are not replacing nature — we are helping it along. Mechanical solutions follow only when the diagnosis calls for them.
Data, not promises
We do not say "we achieved excellent results". We say "−24.68 cm average reduction, 95% confidence interval". This is not posturing — it is responsible communication.
One partner, one point of accountability
Survey, intervention and monitoring all sit under one contract. The client does not coordinate three suppliers — they have one contact.
We do the work, not just present it
Our people are in the field — muddy, focused, by the lake. The report, the presentation and the invoice come after the work, not before it.

Team and sister companies
The ECOMUD team brings together water and environmental engineers, biologists, equipment specialists and software developers. Behind us stand two sister companies: Iszapfaló Kft. (Hungary, since 2006) brings the dredging and machinery know-how, and EFS Bioremedia DOO (Serbia) brings the biological-treatment experience. The Smart Lake digital platform is developed in-house by the LakeMind technology team.
Where we are based
Head office: Tulipánova 990/36, 986 01 Fiľakovo, Slovakia. Our first projects start in southern Slovakia — Rimavská Sobota, Lučenec, Fiľakovo and the surrounding area — where we benefit from being close to our Hungarian sister company. From there we expand nationally, and from 2027 onwards into the Czech Republic and Austria.
