Why it matters
Most lake and sludge projects end badly because they start badly — on assumptions, on a hunch, without measurement. "Plenty of sludge" — how much exactly? "The water has got worse" — which parameter? Without a precise diagnosis the intervention is blind, the result cannot be reproduced, and the return on investment cannot be measured.
Why it pays off
Launching a €200,000 project on the strength of a €2,000 survey is not a cost — it is insurance. The survey often reveals that the problem is somewhere other than the operator suspected — or that the real cost is far lower under a different approach. A precise survey means saving: the intervention is targeted where it is actually needed.
What we offer
Spot sludge-thickness measurement
Steel-rod and ultrasonic-probe measurement on a grid. Output: a sludge-thickness map and a volume estimate with statistical confidence interval.
Ultrasonic bed scan (USV)
An unmanned surface vehicle covers the water on a dense grid and records the bed. Output: a 3D model, sediment cross-section and flow map.
Water and sludge sampling
Accredited laboratory: pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, ammonia, nitrite-nitrate, orthophosphate, COD, BOD, suspended solids.
Bed-morphology mapping
Recording the geometric changes in the bed. Important when deciding on bank protection or flood-defence measures.
Diagnostic report
Status assessment, prioritised intervention proposal, cost estimate and risk analysis — in a format suitable for the authorities as well.
